This is my first carving to use a music box and it was created for the
2004 Woodcraft Wildlife Carving Contest.
Yes, the wings move.
I am considering reproducing a variation of this in bronze. It would include a high quality music box, the working wings and some similar coloring. I talked to Archie St. Clair of Outback Bronze in Grapevine in 2005 and he thought we should make them. However, with an estimated retail price of around $500 dollars (price may very) I have been hesitant to embark on the production without having a list of potential purchasers. Therefore, if you might be interested in purchasing one, or more, let me know.
